About Our Work

01Mission and vision

The New American Community Information Center (NACIC) engages in education, advocacy, and civic engagement through welcome orientations, town hall meetings, cultural and literary festivals, volunteer opportunities, and recognition programs that highlight contributions to immigrant integration and community development.

Charity Projects

Through partnership with the State, City, County and other agencies, including non-profit organizations the New American Community Information Center supports immigrants through education, guidance, civic engagement, and recognition programs. We organize free workshops, training and provide free information daily by partnering with the New Americans
magazine.

02Mission

Equip new Americans with knowledge and tools to thrive in their communities.

Serve as a one-stop hub for orientation, advocacy, and cultural exchange.

Foster community belonging by connecting immigrants with local institutions and opportunities.

Foundation and Events

Foundation of NACIC reflects its mission to empower and integrate new Americans through information and support, while its Events operationalize this mission by fostering education, cultural recognition, and civic engagement. Together, the foundation and events establish NACIC as both a resource center and a community-oriented institution promoting inclusivity.
These components could be collectively referred to as & NACIC’s Integration and Community Engagement Framework & reflecting both its structural foundation and its active programming. Some of our events include the annual New Americans Book Fair and the Youth Media and Communication Development, YMCD program.
