The New Americans magazine and the New American Community Information Center have announced Saturday, September 21, 2024, as the date for the 2024 New Americans Book Fair at the Columbus Metropolitan Library, 5590 Karl Road, Columbus, Ohio from 11am to 5pm.
“It is a pleasure to return to the Karl Road branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library where we started the New Americans Book Fair with new innovations and expected increase in participation,” said Deba Uwadiae, founder of the New Americans Book Fair.
The New Americans Book Fair began in 2022 to promote and create collaborative platforms among authors, writers, agents, artists, movie producers, printers, and publishers in the new American, immigrant, refugee community, with others in America and the global literary space.
Speaking at the 2023 edition of the New Americans Book Fair, Councilmember Emmanuel Remy while expressing appreciation to the organizers of the fair, said “I have seen and met most of the authors. It is great to see the diversity.”
The New Americans Book Fair is opened to all new authors, writers, poets, artists, movie and documentary producers, agents, promoters, publishers, and printers.
Registration for the 2024 edition will commence on Sunday, June 1, 2024.
